Exit at junction 2, and follow the A466 through Chepstow and into the Wye Valley. The route starts in Llandogo. There are a few places to park in the village, such as by the post boxes.

In a couple of hundred yards a large house can be seen over the wall to the right. This is Cleddon Hall, the birthplace of Bertrand Russell.

Ninewells - Woodside - Catbrook - Cleddon Falls - Ninewells Cleddon Bog Nature Reserve is well worth a visit, as it is home to many bog plants as well as birds. The walk passes the edge of the bog before entering Ninewell Woods and following across to Catbrook. There are good views across to the Welsh mountains on this stretch.
